President joins as a speaker at Powering Digital Thailand 2022 – HUAWEI CLOUD & CONNECT
On 18 November, 2021, Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University is invited to join as a speaker at Powering Digital Thailand 2022 – HUAWEI CLOUD & CONNECT organized by Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Center at Central World. He conveyed the experience of Walailak University in bringing technology to transform in various fields to become a Smart University.
Topic: Building Green, Low-Carbon Data Center that Walailak University has brought technology to transform in various fields to become a Smart University, including teaching and learning in the Smart Classroom System, Smart Laboratory, Smart Transportation and Adopting Energy-Saving SDN and Data Center technologies in Walailak University Hospital. Including modern medical information systems for the medical record process even the diagnosis in the form of Smart Hospital, Digital Office Management System (DOMS), which is the driving force towards becoming a full Smart Organization. Now, Walailak University was ranked among the world’s top universities by the QS Asia University Rankings 2022, ranked 551-600 in Asia and 19 in Thailand for the first time, which is a good starting point into Word Ranking.
Powering Digital Thailand 2022 – HUAWEI CLOUD & CONNECT held between 17-19 November 2021, the event features cutting-edge technology, update the latest technologies such as Cloud, 5G and Digital Power organized in the form of Hybrid Events including Smart Healthcare, Smart Energy, Smart Finance, Smart Campus, Smart Education and many more.
