Council members, executives, and employees of Walailak University attended the royal cremation ceremony to pay their respects to Prof. Dr.Wichit Srisa-an, the founding president and former council president of the Walailak University Council.

In this regard, members of the University Council, the executive team, and Walailak University employees attended the royal cremation ceremony. I would like to express my condolences and appreciation for the great contributions he has always made to Walailak University.
Prof.Dr. Wichit Srisa-an is a person who plays an important role in the Thai education industry. He used to hold important positions, such as Permanent Secretary for the University Affairs Office. Has worked on the development of education in the country. He was the founding president of three universities in three regions, including Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, which uses a complete distance education system. Suranaree University of Technology and Walailak University, which is a model for autonomous universities, include being the president of many university councils and holding political positions such as Minister of Education, Chairman of the Education Commission, and House of Representatives. Throughout his working life, he created works that were of great benefit to the nation. It has created innovations in education and development that have resulted in the development of the country’s human resources, which have many qualities.
