The President visited the area to see the progress of renovating Walailak University's office in Bangkok
On May 25, 2023, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University (WU), will visit the area to see the progress of the renovation of Walailak University’s office in Bangkok, the SM Tower building, together with Walailak University Bangkok Coordination Subdivision and Boon Engineering Co., Ltd., which is currently the overall office renovation working according to plan. There is 65% progress. The contractor company has adjusted the design in accordance with the actual use as the university has agreed to increase or reduce work. It is expected that the renovation will be completed according to the contract by July 23, 2023.
Walailak University’s office in Bangkok, on the 19th floor of the SM Tower building, has an area of 1,235.76 square meters, consisting of a large conference room with 40 seats for accommodating Walailak University Council meetings and important meetings of the university. Two lecture rooms for teaching and lectures held in Bangkok Small meeting room, reception room, personnel working area zone, and area zones for teaching and learning, in addition to being useful for the operation of the university. Can also provide rental services for organizing meetings, training, and seminars for external agencies as well.
