Walailak University signing an MOU with TISTR to promote academic workforce and entrepreneurs of Science, Technology and Innovation
Walailak University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 17 agencies to coordinate research and development in every step. Using resources together aims to promote and develop entrepreneurs in science, technology and innovation.
Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of Thailand (TISTR), National Research Office (NRCT), Rajamangala University of Technology, all 9 places, Kasetsart University, Maejo University, Office of Science and Technology Development, National Institute of Education (NSTDA), Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College, Walailak University, Suratthani Rajabhat University, and Prince of Songkla University on September 16, 2022 at the press conference room, 1st floor, King Mongkut’s Building, Yothi Road, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothammathat, Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), honored and congratulated the signing ceremony.
This Memorandum of Understanding has been prepared to coordinate research and development at all stages. Utilizing resources together promote and develop entrepreneurs in science, technology and innovation, including the development of academic personnel in all 18 departments for maximum benefits supporting the sharing of resources, including tools, equipment, and knowledge exchange, as well as applying the research results to concrete benefits through effective management.
Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothammathat said we will work under the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation that emphasizes integration and collaboration in order to drive the utilization of research, science, technology, and innovation. We believe that this collaboration will bring together the potential of personnel and bodies of knowledge, as well as diverse expertise from scientific research, technology, and innovation organizations, with support from relevant educational institutions, which will generate strength and can propel Thailand’s development and drive It also meets the needs of people both in the country and abroad, as well as develops the potential of personnel in all departments For the benefit of the development of new jobs in the future, we sincerely hope that the operation under this cooperation will be successful.
