Walailak University grab the prize "ANTI-CORRUPTION AWARD 2021"
On 14 December, 2021, Miss Orapin Chaiyapong, Acting for Head of Walailak University Bangkok Coordination Unit representative from Walailak University received a certificate of honor “Outstanding Educational Institution for the Promotion of Anti-Corruption” at the award ceremony “ANTI-CORRUPTION AWARD 2021” Promotes Anti-Corruption Year 2021 organized by the Association of Anti-Corruption Journalists (Thailand). In this regard, Mr. Chuan Leekpai, President of the National Assembly, presided over the award ceremony as well as giving a keynote address on the topic of “Corruption and Thai Politics”.
Award ceremony “ANTI-CORRUPTION AWARD 2021” has been held continuously for the 3rd time to honor and to encourage individuals, organizations and the media who adhere to good governance perform duties with diligence, perseverance, honesty, and honesty by dividing. The award into type of person, type of organization, type of mass media and the honorable person of the Year Award which in the category of outstanding educational institutions There are 10 educational institutions accepting the award.
Dr. Ek Leungsaard, President of the Association of Anti-Corruption Journalists, said that the association would like to be a cog in the campaign against corruption with determination by building a network covering the whole country focus on cultivating conscience among students to behave as good people in return for the land although acting to protect national interests is not an easy task, but will continue to do this duty without discouragement.
Walailak University’s Staff and students are encouraged to be aware of anti-corruption by working with the Association of Anti-Corruption Journalists (Thailand) on driving anti-corruption strategies to prevent and campaign against corruption in accordance with the national development strategy, including the student affairs section has brought students Participate in international anti-corruption day activities continuously.
