Walailak University Snatch the Prize of “THAILAND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AWARDS 2021” Outstanding Strategies Category
On 26 October, 2021, at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President for Administration was representative to receive the award “THAILAND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AWARDS 2021” in the Outstanding Strategies Category from the project “Digital Office Management System Walailak University Digital Office Management System” (DOMS). It was honored by Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, presided over the opening and award ceremony.
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee said there is a policy for the adoption of digital technology in many dimensions by requiring all departments in the university to use technology in their work and report results every month. The use of digital technology to help work makes operations faster. Economical and quality This allows our university to compete with the work of other departments. The awards are part of the transformation of Digital Transformation. The university uses the mechanism of policy formulation to increase the efficiency of work. The results obtained today are clear. efficient, fast, economical and quality work.
“Digital Office Management System Walailak University Digital Office Management System” (DOMS) makes it possible to quickly direct the management of the operator to the operator while the operators can also send books and documents quickly. This allows work to be done anywhere, anytime and also reduce the use of paper a lot per year.
Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, said the government has recognized the importance of digital technology as one of the factors affecting economic growth and national development. Therefore, it has been set in the national strategic plan in many areas “THAILAND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION WEEK 2021” held here, It is another important opportunity that all sectors will come together to help drive raise awareness among entrepreneurs to understand the role and importance of digital technology as well as creating more opportunities for entrepreneurs to access digital technology.
This event, The Federation of Thai Industries, in collaboration with the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) or ETDA, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, and Business+ magazine, a subsidiary of ARIP Public Company Limited, launched the event “THAILAND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION WEEK 2021” under the concept “Transforming to the Digital Company Now, it’s time to change the organization to digital” officially. It is organized in the form of a virtual event to drive both government and business sectors through Digital Disruption, able to transform the organization into the drive of digital technology. It is scheduled to be held between 11 – 28 October 2021.
